2026/2027 K4 TO Grade 12 Support Program

This program is open to students registered in K4 to Grade 12 (up to 21 years of age)

All Students must be registered Louis Bull Tribe Members. This program is available to On and Off Reserve youth.

This program will be available from May 15 2026 to February 26th 2027 or until funding is no longer available.

Parents and Guardians will need to do one application per youth; if over the age of 18, the student can complete their own application.

Receipts must be legible and complete. The payments must be by Debit, Credit or Cash to be reimbursed. Gift cards or charge accounts as a form of payment will not be approved.

What Can you Apply For

School supplies and/or Fees
- Receipts must be submitted and will be given to the BHCS as they are required for payment. There will be a limit of $250 reimbursed per student per year. Please note that supplies are stationery and daily school use items; a School Supplies lists may be requested. BHCS reserves the right to limit the payout to what is considered required and can pay less than submitted if needed. Clothing, technology and sports equipment do not qualify.
Tutoring –
- Must provide a letter, on letterhead from the teacher showing that a tutor would be beneficial to the student. There must be an invoice and proof of payment provided. The tutor must be a post-secondary student or an education provider that has completed a post-secondary program. Family members will not be allowed to tutor their own kinship for payment from the BHCS.
  - Extra education programs: such as KUMON would qualify under this category as well.
Field Trips and Travel Club – Proof of signing up and payment must be provided.
- For a Travel Club, the travel club paperwork must be submitted in compliance with AGLC’s guidelines before payment is made. The travel club must be administered in accordance with a school administered program. If submitting for a travel club BHCS will send you more forms for completion and the decision may take up to 60 days for approval. Transportation Fees
- Bus Fees for students up to $250 per year will be available. Receipts and registration will be required.
Hot Lunch Expenses
- BHCS will support up to $250 per year in school meal. The meals must be provided by a school program; the receipt of payment must be submitted, and the services must be provided before this payment is distributed.

The Details

This program is funded based on a yearly basis from May 15st 2026 to February 26th 2027.

It is up to the individual to provide accurate payment information.

All applications must be filled out and signed and in the program dates; no prior expenses before May 1 2026 will be approved. All expenses must fall between the dates specified and any participation of events must occur between May 1 2026 and March 31 2027.

No applications will be processed until all required documents are submitted.

The BHCS will make two attempts to contact applicants; if there is no contact made within 14 days of the last email, we will not be able to process the application, and the applicant will need to reapply.
